Episode 41
In this episode of the Intersection, our authentic queens unpack the Murder of a young Iranian girl named Mahsa Amini. Linda, B, and Jo discuss the Morality Law in Iran and how most of these laws target women.
It is believed that Amini died in police custody due to her not wearing the Hijab the "correct way". B, Linda and Jo talk about police brutality, religion and religious freedom, and women's ability to express themselves.
We hope you enjoy this episode, we hope that you learn about Amini's life, and find out ways to support the cause or do your part. YWC send our condolences to Amini's family and the women of Iran who are risking their lives protesting her life.
